Your portfolio is a personal website where you will collect, present, and reflect on your creative work. You will build it throughout the semester and use it as evidence of your learning during your portfolio conferences.
Create and maintain a digital portfolio that:
organizes and archives your creative work
communicates who you are as a media artist
presents your work clearly and visually
explains your creative and technical choices
reflects your learning and growth
provides evidence for assessment

Update and improve your existing portfolio rather than starting over.
Your portfolio has two main goals:
1. Create a functioning archive of your work
2. Present your work in a visually strong way
A Proficient portfolio:
is complete and published
is clear and easy to navigate
organizes required projects effectively
includes working media
includes complete artist statements
explains your role, choices, and learning
uses a consistent and readable visual design
makes effective choices about layout, images, fonts, and colour
Using the class Canva template effectively can demonstrate Proficient achievement.
An Extending portfolio may show:
a strong and distinctive visual identity
thoughtful customization
intentional organization and curation
especially effective use of layout, images, typography, colour, or sequencing
insightful reflection on process and growth
increasing independence and artistic intention
An extending portfolio should work well first, then use visual design to strengthen how your work is presented and understood.
