4. Watch Video and follow instructions

5. Practise - Make sure ALL group members work through the checklist

6. Build your shots with the shot generator below - one shot per person!

7. Plan your shots with the storyboard (paper copy in class)

8. Gather your group/ gear and film!

9. Demonstrate your learning to earn the Technical Licence - Camera  Apprentice

10. Save your SD card for the next lesson!

Connect all your shots to make a simple story!

MUST DO:

1. Form a group of 2 or 4.

2. Check out a Canon C100 kit (no audio) and a tripod.

3. Find the C100 Camera Tech 1 Checklist handout or bring a laptop tp the equipment room to watch video. Use the C100 Exposure Triangle Quick Reference sheet

4. Watch the C100 Camera Intro Part 1 video and follow the instructions.

5. Practise setting up the camera and finding the Shutter, ISO/Gain, and Iris controls.

6. Work through the Exposure Triangle practice on the checklist. Make sure ALL group members change each setting and observe what happens to the image.

7. Complete the exposure challenges on the checklist.

8. Return the camera to the correct starting settings and put away all equipment properly.

9. Mark lesson complete and move on to next lesson.
