Sign out a Zoom H4n Pro recorder kit with headphones, lavalier microphone, batteries and SD card
Get a copy of the Zoom H4n Pro Quick Guide (below or in class).

PRACTISE: Follow the quick guide to:
Prepare and power on the recorder.
Select the onboard XY microphones.
Check input meters and adjust recording levels.
Record a short audio sample.
Stop, play back and listen through headphones.

Follow along the Zoom H4n Pro — Lavalier Mic Quick Guide to connect and set up the microphone.
PRACTISE:
Attach and position the lavalier microphone correctly.
Connect it to the Zoom recorder.
Select the correct input and microphone settings.
Check recording levels and monitor through headphones.
Record and play back a short dialogue sample.
Record a short dialogue sample and listen to the results.
FINISH
Make sure every group member has successfully set up and operated the equipment.
